Jessie + Luke
Where do I begin with this wedding, the story of this friendship began long before this wedding day. Years ago when I was backpacking In South America I met one of Jessie’s friends. He thought that we were kindred spirits, with our love for photography and adventure and put us in touch via Facebook ( remember that old thing ). To cut a long story short, myself and Jess were in contact for a few years and kept track mainly of one another’s photographic ventures. Fast forward, Jessie asked me to photograph her elopement wedding in Scotland. An American and Englishmen were to wed in Scotland and have their wedding photographed by a South African. Sounds fake, but only it was real. It was also the culmination of our long distance friendship and this was the first time I would get to meet Jessie in person.
This is an experience I will treasure forever, a wedding that will always warm my heart and a country that exceeded my every expectation.
