FAQs

01. Do you travel for work ?

Yes, I love to travel and it is a very big source of inspiration for me in my photography and writing.

In terms of traveling for family photography if you would like to try and save on my travel costs, you could always see if other mothers / families in your circle of friends would also like to book a shoot with me and that way you can split my travel costs.

02. What is your approach ?

Good question. I always feel that it is important to choose a photographer who’s style you resonate with and not simply choose a photographer for photographs. My aim when photographing is always to seek a timeless and uncontrived feeling to my images. I focus on using natural light and realistic, natural tones to my work. If you work with me, you will find that I like to keep a flow to my work, working in a documentary manner and only giving direction when needed or when It will enhance the work, never recreating a moment that may have just passed. I seek to create images that always feel honest and purposeful.

03. Did you study and how long have you been photographing ?

I do not believe that in order to be a good photographer that one needs to study, but I did happen to study a year intensive photographic course at Vega as well as was mentored by many photographers along the way. My love for photography however began long before studying. I had an interest in cameras and photography from a fairly young age. In total I have been photographing intensely since 2008 and professionally full time for 2 years now.

04. What is your turn around time ?

For Weddings 6 weeks (8 weeks during high season). For Families and motherhood sessions 1-2 weeks. I will however always deliver sooner if it is within my means. I take great care and pride in the final product that I hand over to you, so the time taken is always to ensure quality.
